Which tire type and diameter are you on? If your concern is impact harshness, I'm not sure there's much you can do besides going to a comfort oriented tire with a taller or softer sidewall. Different struts will make the ride less bouncy by dampening rebound, but the tires and springs are likely going to impact ride quality more. It's a truck platform, so there are limits to what can be done because the springs have to be stiff enough to carry the body and payload.
