Reset Oil Life

The techs at Ford dealer are stumpted. How do you reset the oil life back to 100% after service?

Page 383 of the manual says:
RESETTING THE INTELLIGENT OIL
LIFE MONITOR
1. From the settings menu, press Vehicle.
2. Press and hold the Oil Life button until
the system reset confirmation appears.

I solved my problem. The new software is glitchy so I treated it like a computer and rebooted my profile. A whole bunch of addition menu items appeared and one was oil reset!

I just had my oil changed at local official dealer. I guess the techs were also stumped because the oil life monitor was not reset when I checked. Moral: always recheck oil monitor after dealer oil change.

Resetting the oil life monitor is going to be really important on these because unless you're choosing to change oil based on mileage the sensor is how you will know when a change is necessary.

I did a "factory reset" (via touch screen). That reset everything on the center screen (phone pairing, radio presets, etc) but changed nothing on the little screen in the instrument cluster.
