Rough idles and dies

From the start there was no check engine light, and no store codes. Everything we changed was based what could cause the problem. It was not verified in any way.

To be honest that really sounds like a intermittent ground lift. Do a visual inspection where the negative battery cable connects to the truck.(remember that it has been known to corrode under the wire insulation where you can’t see)
Maybe even give the wire a wiggle while running (if possible) to see if you can duplicate symptoms.

I checked all the wiring. Wiggled all the wires all good.
