Do you find your 1st gen rear end just sits too low to the ground? Sloppy in the back?

There are two styles of coil springs sold for these, variable rate springs and constant rate springs. In my 4x4 2001 model what I was offered was Moog P/N CC80841 or P/N 81149, CC80841 are progressive, or variable rate springs, this is what I took off my rear end and replaced with the 81149.

The 81149 are a 19mm diameter coil with about 10 coils top to bottom.

the CC80841 start at about 19mm, then go to 18mm a few coils then to 17, 16, 15 and ended on a 14mm coil.

After putting in the 81149 my rear end of about 2 inches taller and matches the front of my car.

By the way, I chose the 81149 because the Amazon reviews for them said they fixed the ride height and the reviews for CC80841 lots of people said still left rear end sagging. I have no idea what springs are in the front of my vehicle though.

I hope this helps anyone else in this situation.
