My 2019 started making the cam phaser noise. I wanted 4 wheel drive and Ford offered finance and pricing specials. My 2024 Stealth Limited has 4WD and CCD. It rides much smoother, but the first thing replaced will be the General Grabbers.

The Grabbers are a good tire, but with the CCD, there are many choices that will make that ride better.

No, they are not! I had to have one replaced right out of the gate due to not being able to balance. Granted, this can happen to other tires, but read lots of negative comments about them online. Upgraded to Pirelli Scorpion AS3 Plus tires and night and day difference in handling, ride, and noise!

I too upgraded to Pirelli Scorpions Weathercraft which are fantastic tires. The grabbers rode fine with no needed balancing, so you must have gotten a bad lot or they sat too long waiting to be sold. Why Ford puts these on their vehicles without an optional choice is beyond me.

General tires were, are and will always be crap. I never say never, but if I was buying new vehicle, especially $80K, and it had Generals, I'd make them change them, or I wouldn't buy that vehicle. No, never!

I have 44k miles on my original General Grabbers and have had no issues. They are at 3/32nds so we are at the end of their life, but they have worn evenly, provided good traction in all conditions, and are not overly noisy that I can tell. Now I’m looking at the Michelin defenders as replacements, but I would not refuse a new car because they had GG’s on them. Maybe I’m an outlier.

Maybe you got a good set? Either way...me? Never.

Oh, and 44K miles? I got 60K out of the OEM Hankooks most people don't like. Probably could have pushed to 65K.
