On December 2019 when an independent workshop replaced the spark plugs for my RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI, they charged me $330, for 16 spark plugs replacement.
That's not bad to me. My Hemi's always cost me around $100-120 for the plugs (yeah, 16 is fun). so that would leave around $200 for labor, I can digest that. but 2-3x that, what the heck? When did a Ford tech's hourly rate equal that of a Ferrari mechanic.

Pretty reasonable for a 16 plug job, but that was THEN (pre-rona), and this is now (post-rona), and labor rates have skyrocketed ALOT during/since that time, from about $75/hr to $140/hr @small shops, and from $90/hr to nearly $200/hr at dealerships.....

suks but it is what it is :D
