Thought i'd share. I've owned my 2013 SSV for about two years and final got around to inserting the centre console and then designing the insert for the shifter space. I taught myself 3D design but had a solid AutoCAD background to start. I dont own a 3D printer and used the local library's. I designed my own because i didnt like the ones I found online and found them expensive.
It's about 10cm deep and i printed removable dividers (red) to customize it how i want. The black is ABS while the red is PLA.
It was a bit of a learning curve and trial and error. I made test jigs to make sure the dimensions worked, before the final print. The library had trouble printing it so i did it in two sections and glued it together with abs slurry from acetone. If I took it to a pro print place it probably would have worked out ok.
Since the print i made Sane modufucatiobs such as a radius on the top to soften the edge, and minor changes to the design . Not sure why as ill probably never print it again,
Would like some feedback.
Thanks
