Stripped chrome lug nuts

Thanks for this, I ordered a set of the gorilla nuts for my new F150 wheels to be held on with. Soon as the tires arrive and are mounted, and I get 'em on, I'll post pics.

I went with the black ones...the wheels are back with machined areas, they're the 18" Sport wheels, IIRC they come on the FX4 trim..maybe..

I had the same issue
Had to drive a socket on them to remove them & use a Punch to remove them from the socket
Used a 22mm metric socket to remove them
Dealer wanted $112.00 for 24 single piece nuts
Bought mine on Amazon for $38.00 with free shipping

Stock Ford lug nuts are absolute garbage.

It's a really common issue. I used Gorilla nuts iirc.

What happens is the chrome cover swells up and or spins on the inside steel nut. Crappy design.
