Hello Shawn,

I will be posting this, in toto, on the Expedition forums. This is not a good answer. If you don’t know what the PCM is monitoring, how are you building tuners?

This shouldn’t be a hard question. Turn the damn thing on, plug it in, and go through the menu. If you send me one to test, I’ll do it for you and then send it back.

Please forward this to management so I can discuss this with someone who cares.

Joe,

Your unbelieving, and skeptical, customer.

Hi Joe,

If the Engine Vacuum and Amperage are monitored by the PCM then it should be possible to view them on SCL-5015P computer programmer. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/scl-5015p however if these are not normally monitored, then you will need separate gauges to few these values.

We appreciate your business.

Thank you,

-Shawn

Hi Joe,

What is your application, Year, Make, Model? This will allow us to narrow down the programmers that we offer.

We appreciate your business.

Thank you,

Hi Joe,

I apologize for the mis-information, but we do not build programmers. We would suggest contacting SCT directly for more specific answers than what they have supplied to us. You may call them at 407-774-2447 or 1-866-637-1672 hopefully they will be able to supply a more detailed answer for you.

We appreciate your business.
Thank you,

I guess I dont get it....Have you contacted SCT ?
SCT might be more likely to give you a demo/trial - but more likely they would KNOW the answer (since theyre building and programing the device).

Summit is a RESELLER of parts, and they resell a LOT of stuff....im not surprised, nor do I find fault, that they dont know something about a specific year/part.

I dunno... when I’m selling 600 dollar hardware, it might occur to me to get off my ass and get that info from my vendors rather than blowing off a prospect who cares enough to research the product. It’s not like it was even a hard question.
But that’s me. You do you. Thank you for your input.

while I don't disagree....summits catalog is HUGE....theres no way one person is gonna know everything about every product....and take that one level further....they would have to know it for each make model and YEAR.

summit isn't making $600 bucks...theyre probably lucky if theyre getting 20%.

Have you tried Jegs or 4 Wheel Parts (they are summit racings biggest competitors)....I bet they dont have the answer either.

I wouldn't waste my time w/ a reseller....go direct to the manufacture....

I have asked several vendors, and posted the question here and other places, including the only local custom tuner i found. Still waiting.
