I’m trying to identify what the actual differences are between 2017/2018 models suspension. Some suspension components I have found are supposedly compatible with both 3rd/4th gen trucks, some are specific to model year.
For example the Bilatein 5100 front lift struts are supposed to fit 2013+, but the 4th gen gets more lift out of the same components.
Also curious about the rear…Rough Country sells a kit that centers the rear axle, but it’s only compatible with 2018+ models….supposedly. Any reason this couldn’t be used on a 3rd gen?
Also curious if the front end was sourced directly from an f150. If so…what year?
