Thanks for the link. I too find the engine and handling in Sport mode to be quite impressive (SPP in Wild Green here, like the test sample, only longer) and the brakes to be quite grabby. Really, my own experience with the '25 Ford Expedition for 700+ miles now closely reflects the experiences documented in the comparison review.

Interesting they say the ford has info overload. Its really nothing more than the others (i have driven a new tahoe).....just the presentation and driver interface is more digital than the others. IMO! I did very much like the new tahoe, but we have owned 4 gm SUV's in a row before this expy. Was time for a change.

I already figured everything out on the steering wheel, they just need to do a long term test on it. The only gripe I have is not being able to customize the screen more. Not sure why I need to have maps and audio on both the dash and the console screen. Maybe Ford will fix this with an update

Agreed. The steering wheel controls are different, but after a week with our rental Expi this summer I had it all figured out.

Tech gripe I have….my wife is, of course, smaller and shorter than I. You have to basically sit in the drivers seat and then go through the menus to switch to different saved seating position. It should have 1,2,3 buttons on the door for seating so that I don’t have to fit in while it moves. No im not going to assign the other key to me.

I'm curious as to why not? I assigned the separate keys for wife and I and it works just fine to automatically switch profiles. Even when we are both in the truck.

Outside of the categorical scores, after driving or riding in each of these cars, I have to agree with 95% of what was said of each, though I personally would change placement. Yukon and tahoe would share third place, because the value incentive doesn't exist with the examples tested. Wagoneer would be #1. Barring looks and reliability, the wagoneer offers an incredibly packaged and performing vehicle. Personally, I liked the ford the best overall as the tech pkg and steering wheel shape they(and others) complained about doesnt bother me, but I do believe ford neutered the 2nd/3rd row room from the 4th gen.

Wagoneer rode the best by far. The fact more of these other vehicles don't have air ride as an option is quite shocking. I haven't driven the armada. But Sequoia was a step back from prior gen.
The Tahoe/Expedition, depending on shock selection and tire option so close you're splitting hairs.
And the interior, Chevy is a strong contender, I'd put the Tahoe/Expy as almost cousins, you can't really go wrong with either one, just personal preference.

They all have air suspension. Only one without it is the ford. As far as coils goes, the expy has the best ride of the bunch from my booty. I was in a wagoneer with coils, and it felt pretty similar to how my 18 expy was, slightly less harsh, but on air, were extremely comfortable. The gms on coils are either way too soft or firm. I think I have driven a gm on air once, and it was also firm, but absorbent. You can get a rear air in the sequoia, though it isnt as functional as the full air in the others. Goes without sayin, it rides well, but nowhere near as good as the others. The armada on coils was very nice, however on air springs, its a bit too firm.

Well basically cemented my choice on what SUV to upgrade my 05 Exped to, another Expedition. My two biggest priorities are towing my camper, and hauling my dogs in that order and Exped appears to win in all categories w/ best price.

Here's motortrends suvoty review for the armada. Funny how they say the ride is rough with the pro 4x, and then say they would've rather tested the armada platinum reserve. We tested the platinum reserve and the big reason we said no was because of the ride. Even with coils, the expys ride better.
