Switched power circuit / fuse # needed for dashcam.

I used this black/light green wire as a switched power source to control a switched relay for a light bar. You would need to wire in a 10A+ relay for your camera, but at least you get the switched power source you want with no delay after turning the key off.

Is there nothing in the lower right kick panel fuse box that can be used for both switched and constant? I'm having a hard time finding the right fuse to use (constant and switched) and also have the fuse tap oriented in the right direction because there always seems to be a relay or raised piece of plastic in the way.

Just did this on my 03. Fuse#1 is Run/Accessory on it. If there wasn't another option, I was going to just try running it hot and counting on the Blackvue's motion detection to automatically switch to/from parking mode
