Tail stop lights on all time

Dear all

I have an issue
When my care is totally off (i one it or close it) there are only normal road light on
when i only start him (light in all position - off , auto, day etc) in the back of car (tail) i got all time all 3 light on stop

I have changed a stop light switch (old one was ok) and check on for scan if it ok
I checked the stopper on pedal (it is ok)
I checked the wiris in the lamps - ok

on for scan i got no bugs/ problems

BUT
so time ago i had an issue with oil filter i blowed up and i have every thing under the hold in oil
engine and every thing is working on (small leak)

the engine was clean from oil

But i think that from that time i got the problems with those stop light which are on all the time

Any ideas???

so topic is solved
the problem was that (i dont know who - mechanic - child) has checnge setting of the trailer brake
it was on plus all time this was the reason why i had brake lighs on all time

Glad you figured it out. Can't be easy for you over there to get the truck serviced when it's a unique car. I know you've had to do some electrical modifications to get you car to comply with EURO regulations. Even you hitch must be somewhat difficult to go to a 13-pin standard that is used over there vs. the max 7-pin used in the USA.

A bad trailer brake controller does the same thing. Ran into this on a different truck just about a month ago. A bit late now as for help… but anyways…
