Tire pressure at 45 pounds

Just picked up a 2019 Expedition Limited with the 22 inch wheels today. The ride is rough. I looked at the tire pressure and it's 45 pounds. Why so high?

I have the CCD suspension and have mine at 39PSI cold. It is a lot more comfortable.

The sticker on my Platinum recommends 39. I’m guessing yours doesn’t say 45.

Let some air out of the tire man! 39 psi is factory recommended pressure on the 22's.

I went out and lowered them to 39psi. I'll see tomorrow how it rides.

any chance they are Light Truck tires?
what is listed max psi on the side of the tire?

Picked up my 2019 platinum the other day for the dealer. They didn’t get a chance to prep it. Tire pressure was 48-50. I have since lowered it to 39.
Maybe they overfill them when they ship them??

Idk about shipping PSI but that’s way over inflated and something that should have been rectified during the dealers initial inspection.
