Ok guy's, my question has to do with tire size so I hope we have some experts out there. I have an '03 expedition xlt and am installing 3 1/2" front and 2 1/2" rear leveling kit. My question is can I run a 35x70x17 tire on the stock wheels and keep the same back spacing?. Was told I could only run 33s. need your input. thanks.

You can run 35s but you'll have to do some trimming in the front to the fenders so they don't rub and you'll also have to remove your running board to avoid the 35s rubbing those in the front and back as well. I'm running 33s (285/70/R17) on stock f150 rims same size as the stock EB rims (17x7.5) and I have about a half a inch space between the front tires and fender turning in either direction. Won't be a lot of timing tbh if done right. Also you may have to put spacers on to give you a bit more back spacing
I put 2.5 inch spacers on mine all the way round

Yes. You can run 35x12.5x17 on stock spec wheels with the 3.5"/2.5" lift.
You will need to remove your running boards and trim about a half inch off of the lower corner of the front valance.
Easy Peasy.

Have been running my 35's for years. No rubbing. Zero issues.

35x12.5x20 on stock F-150 wheels. No rub but I have side steps instead of running boards. I am running a 1.5 inch spacer in the rear to set them out with the body.View attachment 38024
I'm looking at a set of these, 20" F150 wheels. Mine has no lift currently and I'm curious if they would fit without modifications. It's almost time for me to get new tires, so I was going to update the wheels at the same time.

What gears are you running? Did you swap to a different gear? I notice a difference in mine with only 33x12.50r27 on stock 3.73
