2017 (standard length) EXP with HD trailer tow. Trailer brake controller and all trailer lights work great. The truck recognizes that a trailer is connected. However the 12v trailer charging is not powered.
I have checked at the trailer battery with the engine running, doors closed, and trailer battery at 12.6v. I would expect 13+ if it were charging.
All underhood fuses and relays are checked and present. Although I am unsure which fuse powers the 7-pin, as there are multiple fuses labeled with "trailer tow" in the owner's manual.
Is there an extra relay or fuse that needs to be added somewhere? Anything else obvious to check?
