Has anybody encountered this problem. I'm getting a trailer brake module fault. Forscan code u0137:00-48. Gauge displays fault in start up and is cluster starts in tow menu. I've check the fuse for trailer brakes and no luck. Also deleted trailer in settings. What other method should I try?

2019 ford expedition max limited non HD. Also I have no brake controller attached to the truck.

You have a different generation - but I wish you luck.

I had an issue since new on my 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 with the HD tow package - but the dealer was never able to determine what the problem was and the dash warning still appears intermittently to this day (“Trailer Wiring Fault”). I have never towed or hooked up a 4 or 7 pin connector to the vehicle.

Just figured it out. When I coded the cluster to display the temp of gauges. I code the one with brake Controller. So I recoded it for the with out. Now it's fine.
