Hi, new member, and new owner of a 2024 Expedition Platinum. Bought it yesterday.
It's the best car I've ever owned, and all is well except for one issue. When I get a call, the ring comes through the car's bluetooth, AND the phone. When I answer it, I hear it on both also....causing an echo loop. Not usable, at all.
Tried another phone. Same thing. Tried a third, same thing.
Tried with and without Android Auto, same thing.
Here's what I've done to try to fix it, both on my own and with three different sessions on the phone with Ford:
- Deleted the phones from Sync, deleted Sync from the phones. (all phones are newer Pixels, Models 7, 8 and 9)
- Module Reset (right arrow & volume up)
- Factory Reset (using the option on the Sync screen, turning off the vehicle and stepping out for 2-3 minutes)
- Ford Pass reset (using the sync screen)
Nothing will fix this. Finally, Ford got on the line with a dealership for servicing...
Any ideas? Crazy, on a one-day-old car.
Thanks in advance!
