Hello All,

I have been on a mind bending, frustrating journey the last 11 months. Last November on my 2023 Expedition Max I started to sporadically receive a series of errors:
Pre-Collision Assist Not Available
Park Aid Malfunction
Blind Spot Detection with Cross Traffic (Cross Traffic System Fault)
Front Camera Fault - Service Required

Soon these were happening every time I turned on the vehicle. I took it into the dealership and they ran diags. They reported that this is a known issue and that there should be an OTA in February of 2025 that magically fixes it.

I waited until March and it still was happening. Brought it back in and they now tell me that the OTA update got pushed to May and it will magically fix everything. They referenced TSB 25-2104 as the issue.

Waited until June and brought it into a different Ford dealership with hope for better luck. They kept it for a whole month. Tried to give me the OTA pixie dust story again but I pushed back. Opened a case with Ford. Insisted they replace the IPMA module which they finally did.

All was well for 2 weeks until the errors started to come back. Same errors every time you turn on the car. Brought it back to the dealership and insisted they fix it. Now they are saying the magical update is supposed to be out in October and all will be well once it updates OTA. Forgive me if I don't believe them.

Is anyone out there seeing this?? Can anyone on this forum run a PTS against my VIN to see what software versions are on there currently? I want the dealership to keep the vehicle until they fix it while I drive their loaner but they are forcing me to give the loaner back saying that is all they can do for now. Of course I am on the verge of being out of warranty...

Any advice is very much appreciated! As soon as that error is gone I am selling this lemon.

I cannot run a PTS (whatever that is) against your VIN.

I’d recommend speaking with a consumer law attorney as quick as possible due to your warranty expiring soon. You are being strung-along by the dealer and Ford until your warranty expires.
