The mats that came with my 26 Tremor are nice but they lack in some of the features that I had from my WeatherTech mats that I had in in my 2014. The main feature is to protect behind the gas pedal, which the very cool looking Tremor mats do not.

I need to post a photo for the forum, but come on Ford Engineers, I am guessing that area (behind the gas pedal) may be off limits but it is clearly a wear spot where my heel is and that is Not protected.

As this process moves forward I will post some images.

Look at Lasfit Floor liners. They list 2025-2026 Ford Expedition fitment....for both the Expy and Expy Max.
Also, 3W Auto Life has listings for the 2025-2026 Expy.

Thank you Grrumpy,

Besides the annoying commercials on TV, which I still don't get about the ninja team in motorcycle helmets that outfits somebodies vehicle without asking... I like WeatherTech for the fact they have made the liners in my trucks back to my early Broncos and really did protect my carpets well.

My last Expedition, the 2014 limited had near perfect carpets when I traded it in while using WeatherTech liners.

My 26 Tremor comes with very nice rubber floor liners and I was hoping to keep them because they just look so nice, however, they do not cover enough, and they seem to collect dust and dirt and show it way too proudly. And they do not easily wipe clean.... think sticky rubber. (Image below shows OEM mat, same product as found in Platinum).

The 3W look cool, and if I had one to demo I might consider it, however the back of the gas pedal does not seem to have as much protection as I would like.

The Lasfit do not protect behind the gas pedal. Also I have to see the product to test it, validate the quality.

The WeatherTech mats do give a large amount of coverage, and they are tried and true. I also found that they make an HP version and well.... I just ordered mine. I will write up something after they get here.

I used WeatherTech for years and had good experiences with them. I recently switched to TuxMat due to their appearance and have been very satisfied with them.

wanna1,

The Tuxmat is definitely a mat to consider. The coverage is excellent. The product for my 2026 Tremor is not out yet but for me, I will most likely buy a set to check them out when they are available in June.

Thank you,

So...

My WeatherTech floor mats for the front seats came in last week.

Before I go forward, my history with floor mats goes back to my early Bronco days. In my 1984 Ford Bronco I would use a product called "Husky Liners". Later on I found the early version of WeatherTech and used them ever since on my consecutive Ford Bronco to Expedition ownership history.

The only thing that I did not like about WeatherTech, besides the hokey commercials was how rigid they were. The new HP version is more supple and really forms to the contours of the floor perfectly.

Last week when they arrived I didn't have much time to get some good images before I had to fly out to support a project, so there are only these two hastily taken images below. In the first image you can see how the factory floor mat is just a dirt magnet and also very difficult to clean. The factory mats Look fantastic, and when you shop for a new vehicle they just look so rugged and appealing, which for the dealer is "Mission accomplished". There are many shortcomings otherwise, so it is best to take them out and store them for the future trade in of your vehicle.

In my last Expedition, a 2014 Limited, Man I loved that ride, the floor mats in that were the WeatherTech mats from my 2010 Expedition (traded in to buy the 2014) I just carried them forward. When I traded in the 2014, I got top dollar for it and things like perfect carpets helped with that number.

The things that I like about the new WeatherTech "HP" version is foremost the fit, which is near perfect. The second thing is the new material that is more supple and form fitting. The other details as you can see in the images are the coverage, actually that may be the main reason for my selection, since the area around the gas pedal with stock mats would be seeing way too much wear and that area around the pedals is fully covered now with the WeatherTech mat. A simple thing like the solid snap covers, so liquid cannot find a path through the mat tray is noted. Also the dam at the low point allows you time to recover any spills of less than maybe 10 ounces of (coffee) or odd liquids.

Time will tell over the next year. I will report back as I note any issues.

Waiting for the 2nd Row product. I have the full cargo area mat (Up to 2nd Row).

Evaluating the SillProtectors now. They are placed in an area that seals with the outside lower gasket. I have to temporarily install them and drive on the highway (Air Pressure Differential Test).

The sill will definitely get some impact from shoes, boots and all that.
