Weathertech maintenance

I put Husky mats on top of my WeatherTechs to protect them (and the WeatherTechs protect the carpet, which protects the floorboards. I'm thinking of adding generic rubber floor mats on top of the Huskies for a little better protection. Oh, and ArmorAll on the generics.

Have you considered heat shrinking them with Kevlar?

I might try that. I've noticed another problem though. When I sit in the vehicle, my knees hit my chin.

I was the sucker that bought both the Cleaner and Protector from WeatherTech...cleaner is ok, but the protector does NOT bring back some of that clean black(semi gloss) as they were new. I may try the suggested Chemical Guys Mat Renew. Thanks.
