Whenever I turn the wheel left of center I get vibration through the steering wheel and a buzzing noise. I was told that the previous owner replaced one of the wheel bearings within the past 6 months. I am assuming it needs the other side done. I am new to this.

2 Questions-
Since it vibrates when I am turning the wheel left, can I assume the left one is the one that needs to be replaced?

And is this hub/wheel bearing assembly the right part?

Turning left puts additional stress on the right side of the vehicle; think about the left side of the vehicle rising (becoming lighter) and the right side digs in as you turn left. An analogy would be turning your body while running, if you want to go left you push with your right foot.

See if you can visually determine which one was already replaced.

Edit: Yes, Timken 515031 should work on a 2001 4x4 expy
