long story short..... bushings that hold rear dif to frame failed causing it to sag and destroy my rear cv axles. I pulled dif out and attempted to replace bushings... they didnt press in all the way even with earthquake 1500 ft lb impact. I adapted with longer bolts. not ideal but no other choice.
anyway, ordered new cv axles. oddly ..they come with a ring gear. since I am not changing gear ratios I left the diff alone. seals on axles entry points seem good.
soooo.... when I pulled them out I realized on is a lot longer than the other one. Since they both basically sheared off at the inner cv joint I didnt make note of which was longer.
Someone please enlighten me. thanks in advance
