Wondering if anyone has installed a Whipple Mega Cooler or other in a Stealth Performance Package Max? Looking for feedback/thoughts as I think about doing it (although will not get a tune). TIA

The aftermarket part has to be proven to have caused the problem though before they can deny the warranty claim. An intercooler isn’t going to cause any problems so therefore shouldn’t void warranty.Im probably going to get flak for this, but with all the issues people have had with Gen 4 Expy drivetrains, I would not modify a new / newer Expy and void the warranty.
Do you notice heat soak often or run the vehicle hard (funny to say about a full size SUV). The intercooler are small, but usually do the work needed on a daily driver SUV. Especially if you’re not getting a tune might not be worth it.Wondering if anyone has installed a Whipple Mega Cooler or other in a Stealth Performance Package Max? I agree with you. No flak here.Im probably going to get flak for this, but with all the issues people have had with Gen 4 Expy drivetrains, I would not modify a new / newer Expy and void the warranty.
They CAN Certainly void the warranty if in ANY WAY the engine has any aftermarket parts installed. The part does not need to be related to the issue. its in the print of warranty requirementsThe aftermarket part has to be proven to have caused the problem though before they can deny the warranty claim. That is supposed to be how it works and may have 15 years ago, but no longer. Ford will find any excuse to deny the warranty and you will have to hire an attorney and spend 10s of thousands to maybe get them to cover the repair. No goverment agency will force Ford to abide by the M/M Warranty ActThe aftermarket part has to be proven to have caused the problem though before they can deny the warranty claim. Not true at all. Had to be proved to cause the problem. They CAN Certainly void the warranty if in ANY WAY the engine has any aftermarket parts installed. The part does not need to be related to the issue. its in the print of warranty requirements
Totally agree. Didn’t say Ford lives by that, just saying what the Act states. That is supposed to be how it works and may have 15 years ago, but no longer.
