Hellooooo :)

I am just curious and would like to know what are the most miles on a 2007 EL Expedition?
I ask because I am trying to reach MOST Miles ever :)
My girl (Cinderella) has 312,998 :) no engine work ever done. Only changing spark plugs and coils :)
I run Mid Grade gasoline and Seafoam High mileage in her. I also have always used Valvoline

Thanks Yawl :cool:My New Baby4.jpg

My '07 has only 145,000, once I got rid of the original plugs it's been trouble free. Oil changes at every 3,000 to 4,000 miles. It's not as clean as yours but is a rust free Florida truck.

I have an 08 with 235,000 miles on the clock, had very few issues with it, changed all the transmission fluids (including differentials and transfer box) every 70,000 miles new shocks at 160,000 miles and new disk brakes on all 4 wheels at 180k miles. I hope it will make 350k miles, it’s as clean as yours inside and out and has been fantastic, it regularly pulls our toy hauler..

My '07 has 320k miles. When doing the timing a few years ago, I discovered that the engine is a Ford reman and I don't recall the date on the tag. I've owned her since 2017 when it had 212k miles on it.

my '07 Eddie Bauer is at 295k, some repairs
shocks twice, cam phasers, right cam shaft broken rocker arm, full front end rebuild , leaky rear main seal, rack and pinon, front drive shaft seals, among a few other thing, break ,light switch twice, leaky transmission seal on the plugin, leaky rear diff did a rebuild, currently rear air dampener is popping, this is the second time for this repair all repairs started after about 125k, the leaky connections on heater hoses, and spark plugs 3 times just did them again, coils with aftermarket
that's is a few repairs, everything works except for dash noise maker turn signals and the like and drivers vanity mirror light

bought a '22 limited in Dec 22 love it but kept the 07 as my bidder truck

You’re giving me hope.

How long and heavy is your toy hauler?

I’m doing everything I can to keep ours until 300,000 but we regularly take cross-continent trips with our 7,000lb trailer and I’m wondering how much that might affect its life.

It’s a 2019 max platinum and no issues so far but I needed brakes changed by 60,000 miles including one caliper. Ontario road salt probably killed it.

Our trailer weighs about 6500lb loaded and have had it several years.
Things that went awry when hauling:
A spark plug went bad with intermittent misfiring.
A Prestone engine backflush coupler melted off, luckily I was able to limp to a hardware store and put a brass coupler on and back on the road within an hour. DON'T EVER put this backflush thing on.
A radiator hose blew off, I put it back on and filled with water from an unoccupied business.
The water pump went bad.
In some course of its history I accidently put a 7/8" radiator in, prior to start hauling this trailer, and it could not cool efficiently.
I replaced the radiator with the standard 1-1/4" (superduty cooling) one and no problems of overheating.
The Mexican version of the car has a 2-1/4" radiator, but from my research, it doesn't fit, as the transmission cooler fittings are on the wrong side and doesn't have power steering cooling connections.
Moral of the story, stuff happens. Cars are man made and don't last forever. Be sure ALL your fluids are in good shape and topped of for summer hauling and don't push it too hard.
