Trying to remedy my electrical issues I discovered I have a falls sitting over my PCM connection.. The old tape that secures the cowling at the edge was old.. I let it outside in the rain and raised the hood..wow
Had a few repairs doing the seal, naturally it was in the hardest spot..Getting all this in top shape before I change out the GEM module…
I soaked all the rubber Ultimate Black to help regenerate.. I doubt you can buy new rubber.. Haven’t really looked

Yes where they used double sided tape to direct water also under the cover.. I sealed it up with the Permitex windshield sealer and made directed pathways to make sure it exits properly..
I have also been talking to Grok about grounds.. I learned a bunch.. I wouldn’t be surprised if my problem is because I didn’t put the body to engine ground back in the original place.. After I had put the intake manifold back on I couldn’t get to where the original place was for the ground, so I just put it to the manifold.. According to Grok, this can cause know issues upsetting the negative flow causing problems with the Gem and other things..
So I said I’m going to go buy some 6 Ton Jack stands and get it from the bottom passenger side head..
If you hear loud yelling, you will know that was it.. I hope I haven’t hurt any of the electrical because now my lights are slightly pulsing and my mileage lights are going off and on or slightly flickering..
Hopefully this will allow the TCC to work properly.. We’ll see

Does the other end of that ground connect to the green stud next to the PCM? It'd be a nice find if that's what's going on!

My engine to body ground bolts in the back of passenger side head, comes straight up to the right of the starter solenoid on the firewall..
Unfortunately I couldn’t reach from underneath, so I will make a bridge so I can lay down over the engine and see if I can do it that way..
I did move it to the transmission bracket on the side of the head, and used my radio on AM to see the difference, and it was much quieter.. Remember, I’m old hehe
I wasn’t making headway on the transmission so it currently in a transmission shop locally..I told him what I’ve been going through.. He said on the VSS they made two different ones, something I didn’t know, and he also said there is a sensor on the rear end, I thought it was either or, but apparently its not….
It will be Monday before I find out.. I’m debating on having it overhauled..
The PCM ground I did clean, but was no different..
If there is another sensor on the rear besides the VSS on the transmission, that might be the problem.. I got a professional on it now.. This has whooped me lol
