I have recently upgraded my 4" factory screen/radio to a 12.1" Telsa Screen in my 2017 Ford Expedition which works awesome however they said I needed to install their camera and not use mine. I started on that venture and its a PITA with the wiring getting to the current camera, so I figured since there is already wires running from the radio to the camera why can I not tap into these and use their camera without having to run cables the length of the car? The radio I got is linked below and it an awesome upgrade from the 4" screen with wireless CarPlay as well. The wire I am talking about is in the pic attached. My biggest hangup in trying to install their wire is I have the EL and I don't think I have enough wire to get to camera and to tap into the reverse lights, so I figured I could tap into them more locally by radio since it was already used for current backup camera. Thanks for help!
