Worried about the lift / tire selection I already have. Install scheduled with local shop next week.
1) 2020 Expedition Max Limited - truck seems to already sit low. 35.6 in rear and 35.4 in front. Very little rake.
2) Has factory 22s I need to keep them, wife likes them
3) Checked this morning, it DOES have CCD so this rules out the 1.5” Bilstein shocks (was ideal setup)
4) Want at least .5” of rake
Already have tires, 295/50R22 BFG KO2
Tire size goes from:
32.1 to 33.6 tall
11.2 to 11.6 wide
The lift I purchased is the 1” front level from RC and the 2” front and 1” rear from RC…
The plan is to use the 1” front from the first kit and the 1” rear from the second kit. Was worried that because the truck had such little rake, using the 2/1 kit would make it nose up.
1) Worried the 295 will be too wide and touch the UCA - wondering if .25” wheel spacer is a safe option
2) Worried 1” front and rear isn’t enough?
Simply looking for the lift to be proportionate to the tire size increase.
