My '01 EB Expy is in need for some TLC & updates. Tires are first on the agenda. It needs them. Badly. Some specs:

'01 EB Expy 4x4
towing pkg
4r100 valve body update
SCT xcal2 (troyer perf)
wheels are 18x8.5, 0 offset / 4.75" BS
4.55 gears
rear coil airbags
tires currently are 285/60r18

I have the t-bars cranked a little bit to even out the wheel well gaps. About an inch I think.

I'm looking at 2 tires / sizes & looking to go as big as I can fit & I'm not opposed to trimming the valance or massaging the wheel wells a bit with the sledge if needed.

295/70R18 (34.3")
305/65R18 (33.6")

I'm hoping to fit the 295/70s. Got a pretty good price on TerraGrappler's at a local Discount Tire. They have a set with under 1000 miles that they changed for someone else that decided they were too big.

Think these will go with some trimming?

I'm pretty sure the 305/65's will fit no problem (Falken Rocky Mtn ATS), but would prefer the taller 295's. I did the gears several years ago for towing and went extra steep planning on larger tires.

I do not have a lift, but will likely do the 2" spacer in back and t-bar up front eventually.

thx

Got them this morning. The 295/70 did fit. Just barely. They do clear the back of the wheel well & I had to trim a chunk off the lower corner of the valence at the front as expected.

I'll get some pics up soon. These really do fill the wheel wells. Not really wanting a big lift now, but might do 1" spacer in back & just a little more on the torsion bars up front.

I'm quickly getting used to them cause they don't look nearly as big as they did yesterday morning.
