My dads cadillac wrote off any chance of getting a gm. They do not drive as great as they should esp compared to the others in the class. If nissan cam get the patrol(armada) to look like the qx80 concept, afyer my lease is up i may be jumpin ship lol

Ford are decent vehicles and usually priced lower comparable to GM and Chrysler. Look around, majority of vehicles on road are Fords. Fords are know for good brakes. The bad is around 80K everything starts going, on cue. The new Expedition powertrain is not proven, long term. The older 5.4l had issues, ejecting plugs. The long timing chain on ECO B motor, stretches and throws a emission code. It needs religious maintenance and premium fuel for towing. The new aluminum body may last or not. Aluminum tailgates, on older models, had paint peeling. Bottom line, great truck, until warranty runs out.

At the $80k price point, there's lots of competition so I assume (and hope) that Ford brought its A-game to the new Expedition

I agree with you, we went with the Navigator Reserve over the Expy platinum and the cost was not much different. When you factor in the warranty and pick up for service along with the interior we felt the choice was an easy one to go with the Lincoln.

With the Navi, do you have to get the console instead of the middle seat in the second row? Is there an option to just have captains seats with a passthrough space instead of that console? Also, is there an option to just get a second row bench?

I keep hearing that drivers seat massage option is available on the 2018's but I can't find it in the options list on the Platinum level. Has anyone else seen it?

It's mentioned in the Navi build options:
Perfect Position 30-Way Driver/Passenger Seating with Massaging
