I already have several of these. Work really well.Did you already have your eyes on a specific brand/model for the cameras ?
I have always had the same thought about the blind spot monitor LED. I wanted to put an LED (blue maybe) somewhere on the door by the speaker. I figured it should be easy to wire at this location. It sounds like many of you are way more ambitious than I am, so maybe this is a project someone wants to take on.That's a very nice modification. One thing I've wondered about doing is changing out the blind spot monitor LED with a much brighter one. I can easily see the one in my wife's Toyota Avalon in my periphery, but my 2017 Expedition I have to be looking in that general direction. Looks like from the one photo of the rear side of the mirror you can just pull it out.

Definitely gave it a spark !Looks brighter too. There is something about the design of the side mirror turn signals that feels a bit dated for +2015 vehicle. I think its the big chunk of amber plastic. This livens it up.
