Hows it going guys. Having some right rear door issues. The child lock is disengaged and my door will not open any advice on what I need to do would be great. Thank guys.
Honestly I dont know. I know that a 2004 Crown Vic has a 215 amp alternator that has the same connection. But the alt is computer controlled. I'm not sure if the alt has the same circuitry as the 2003 alt.
Has anyone installed a 2004 Crown Vic alt into thier Expe? The mounting is the same and the harness is the same as well. But the wiring is a bit different. Cant find a reliable source that states the swap is compatible. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
At idle my amp shuts down when the voltage drops down to 8 volts. I understand that the rpm is around 600 rpm and the pulley is stock, not smaller. But when I'm driving say 2,000 rpm, depending on what song I'm playing with bass frequencies around 80-120, the higher frets pull a lot of current...
So what would you suggest stamp11127? My issue is my 2300 watt 1ohm monoblock amp. The amp drops the voltage down to 11 volts according to my 60 sample per second digital voltmeter. I'm running 2 yellow top Optima, 0 gauge lead power cable, and a 135 amp alt.
Has anyone ever upgraded thier 2nd gen Expy Alt to a high amp 2015 Ford Superduty 225 amp alternator? Has the same exact 3 prong plug and same mounting. Just not sure if I'll overload the electrical system or burn the ecm. Thanks.
Computer crash? That's right up my alley. I'm a PC Repairman. Lol. Yeah man. The mod is holding up great. Not long ago, about 8 months ago I had to desolder the fuel pump relay from the circuit board and solder in a new FP relay. Quite a headache. But I got the job done.
Coolant level is good. Never had to refill it. It due for a fluid change though. So I'll just find a good time to remove the intake and replace the gaskets. Thanks for the advice guys.
