Ok, so this job is taking longer than expected... Outside in the driveway with no lift, and mid-30s plus the windchill... All of my pipes were rusted together and the clamps were rusted on too. Needless to say, a few cuts with a sawzall was necessary to get the system off. Also the 90* pipes...- Big Sarge

*Transfer Case Question*
Okay, so below is a picture I found online, then red line I drew on it is where I am leaking. Question is, is there a gasket between the t-case and the cover, or is it just RTV? If it is either of those how do I fix it? Should I just clean it up and RTV the piss out of it or do I need to pull...- Big Sarge

Starting the job now, I'll upload pics tonight or tomorrow. 4 new o2s, two o2 spacer mini cats, two new magnaflow cats, and a 90* pipe to put in place of the 90* cat... Wish me luck! :shooter:- Big Sarge

Oh and when I flushed I used a cleaner from prestone and had that little pint of cleaner and just water in the system it blew hot air like a champ? Water pump having a hard time pumping thick coolant mix and was easy to pump hot water maybe?- Big Sarge

No Heat
New rad, new tstat, new rad hoses, flushed system and flushed cores independently. cores are hot and on low I can feel hot air coming out but when I turn the fan from low to any higher it blows cold and the hoses and cores both go cold to the touch...and yes its been burped completely. Any fix to this ... I know this is an old thread but the issue I'm having is everything works perfectly heater cores are hot to touch but as soon as the blower fan is turned on full blast or anything other than low the cores and hoses cool... Water pump maybe?- Big Sarge

How will my MPG be with one cat on each side, and how is your MPG with no cats lol.... Wife is hesitant on the straight pipe idea, :argue: not a hippy about emissions but she is concerned about MPG?- Big Sarge

Oh... and YES you will need all working condition o2 sensors for this setup to work. If anyone knows of a cheaper way let me know, I heard of dummy plugs that just cap into the electrical wires hanging down off the frame in place of the plug on the wires of the o2 sensors. Alright so I found some o2 sims at http://www.o2-simulators.com the ones we need on our Expys with the dual cats is the "Mini CAT CEL / MIL Fix for Vehicles 96-Current" for $85.95 (call and see about a discount-they're giving me a 10% for active duty).
