Why do you drive an Expedition?
I originally bought mine because I needed a vehicle that could tow my 2500lb trailer. I got an extremely good deal on it at the time and for the most part it's been great. If it got better gas mileage I don't think I'd ever get rid of it.- dankspeed

My 1st Gen's MPG, you?
I'm getting about 15-16 in the city but that is with an extremely light foot. My drive to and from work has a few hills I tend to coast down to help get those numbers.- dankspeed

Jerking during acceleration
mine would do this but it was mostly when taking off from a traffic light or stop, sometimes while at speed and trying to accelerate. It turned out to be my fuel pump. What to look for when buying a gen 1 expy
