    So I tapped into the rear view mirror and uppers the monitor works when you put it in reverse and goes off when out of reverse!! My only dilemma is do I run power to the camera from the rear wiper motor and hatch to stay on all the time or tap rev light????? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    I have a 07 expedition xl. I am installing a new mirror with monitor and a camera over hitch. I want to tie into wiring on drivers side kick panel I need 12v and backup light to turn on mirror when in reverse. I am not sure were to tap into for camera power by bumper? looks simple but is it??
