DTC Code P1131
I cleaned the MAF sensor wires - cleared the codes - no more CEL - and it is running better and gets better mileage.- falcn

DTC Code P1131
Tonight when driving home from work my 1997 Expy Eddie Bauer with 5.4L check engine light came on. I noticed no change in performance - no shuddering, hesitation, etc. I went to Autozone and borrowed the code reader and the code pulled was P1131. Where would you start on the list below...- falcn

New Info on 03 Brake dust problem
Here's bringing up an old thread, but on the early Expy's the Parking/E-brake does not use the disc brake pads - on the inside of the rotor hub is a mini-drum brake set-up - complete with its own set of brake shoes - so this suggested fix won't work on my truck - not that I have noticed a...- falcn

monochrome 2004 Eddie Bauer?
What color was it? The only thing I could find that looked monochrome from 2004 offerings was the dark grey looking paint with dark grey cladding.- falcn

Brake lights not working
Hmm was there corrosion in there that looks like it could have caused the short? Seems a little strange for it to just short out, unless it just plain mechanically wore out on the inside and shorted. Maybe I will grab my tube of dialectric grease and start coating some of my under dash...- falcn

which wax do you use?
I use Meguairs as well, and in between full waxes use the quick detailer. I use it on my motorcycle as well. Detailing tip similar to using the Rain-x on the chrome to help with bug sticking - Lemon Pledge. Great for removing bugs and protecting from bug guts sticking - doesn't hurt the...- falcn
