I looked at the soldered pins in the back of the cluster and they don't look loose or cracked, not sure how it looks on the other side because I couldn't remove the gauges panel
I removed the instrument cluster and opened it up and everything seems fine, I cleaned the connectors and put it back on and still doing the same thing. I think is time to hit the junkyards to see if I can find one.
I checked the conector and pins they look ok, but I will have to remove the cluster and disassemble it in order for me to check the message center PC board :/
I removed the panel and there was no message center switch, there was a few connectors but nothing like the c253 switch I think I have a bad cluster but I don't understand how come it affects the functions of other components..?
Where can I find the message center switch? I read on another thread about a violet wire that goes to the back of the cluster, they say it can have corrosion on the terminals but I didn't find it
I wiggle the harness and the display on the message center comes back on but why is it that when the message center stops working all the other components stop functioning?
