    2008 EL XLT Digital display in center of instrument panel is dim, can hardly see it during the day, doesn't get brighter when headlights are on either. Won't brighten with light adjustment dial to left of steering wheel.

    2008 EL...transmission is "shuddering" intermittently while driving. I know it needs fluid and filter change.

    Yeah, wife said that when she switched to defog windshield this morning, kept blowing from dash vents. Clicking comes from behind center of dash, where the console ends and the dash begins at firewall.

    2008 Ford Expedition EL, loud clicking noise coming from under driver side dash at start up only, lasts about 10 seconds.

    I recently changed the spark plugs, now there is a strong fuel smell in the cabin when stopped while running. I can't find a fuel leak anywhere or smell it in the engine compartment.

    Do I have to replace the coils at the same time I replace the spark plugs. The coils are $40-70 each.

    It has over 100k miles, and as long as I have owned it, since April 2013, the plugs and coils have not been changed.

    My EL XLT is "shuddering" when after decelerating and then accelerating, my wife says it is sputtering, I say it is shuddering. Happens mostly when accelerating after slowing down, not from a stop, but while moving. Don't know what it is at this point, don't think it is the tranny reflash...
