Talked with the dealership. The guy was super nice. He went back to look and said there wasn't any back there and was told that when they took it off it fell apart. That it was necessary but I could always buy one on my own if I wanted one. Extreme cold Temps he said.
I had to have a new battery put in today in my 2021 expedition.
So my question because I honestly can't remember is, is there something that sits around the battery? If so I need to call the dealership back in the morning.
I'm not sure but we may have one. I'll have to look. I know the start /stop hasn't not worked thankfully. But I do drive short trips so I'm not sure if that makes it worse or not. It's still charging on the tender. None of it started until it sat a couple weeks. Almost as if it caused it.
Haha yeah it's a bit of a back story to the name. One of my kids called.my old explorer peaches (bc of where we lived) and when we moved and ended up trading the name followed.
I've gotten a message 3-4 times in the last 30 days. I'll upload it here. It also shows on my vehicle screen as saving battery turn on to start. Last time I had some messages we checked it all and the battery said good and alternator said good too

I had an explorer before this and it didn't do anything crazy. It was brought to my attention that when I shut it off I always hit the button to secure all around. I wonder if that's it? I've googled and searched for this strange vibration sound it does when off.
But I don't touch the vehicle when it does it. I'm usually no where near it. Like today I walked into our garage and it did it. When I sit at Car line it does it once the vehicle is off about 30 minutes
2021 expy. When its shut off for about 30 minutes or not even ran for a few days it does this strange vibrating noise you can hear a few feet away. when yoursitting inside it parked and off a while when it does it the light for the park on the knob lights up and blinks some. Has anyone seen or...
I appreciate it. Thank you. I'm just debating this point taking it to the dealership and having it all done to and for LEDs. I appreciate your help and information a lot.
Thank you for explaining that. I went out after dark had them on. Standing straight out in front of the passenger side both were shining bright in my eyes when only the one should have been. I believe after all this time it's shifted somehow
That's what I'm thinking because I went out after dark and had them on. Standing in front of the passenger side straight out both were shining bright in my eyes
