    The factory tinted windows have always been adequate for my gal's 2005 Expedition, but after having my van done with ceramic, I couldn't wait to have some put on the Ex. I had the van done with Llumar Ceramic 80% rear and 20% front doors....decent pricing, lifetime guarantee, etc...

    I should have mentioned it is a Cashmere Tri-Coat which not everyone makes a formula for. Nason for one. I gave my painter a lead for a brand that a Carquest store carries and he checked it out and we can do this much less next time. Right.....next time.

    I met a lot of naysayers along the way. Most everything fits and you don't have to change the fenders. Worst pain for this whole job was paying $400+ for a quart of paint. Stay tuned for the complete play by play with pics.

    I have seen a few people around the forum mention upgrading exteriors and such, but I'm not sure where to start posting this project. If you would give me some good intel, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be literally changing a 2005 Limited into a 2017 Limited.

    I actually replaced the black with the chrome........so going the other way should not be hard at all. After you pull the trim panel, 2 small screws front and back of the chrome molding, and then you use your Belt Molding Puller Tool and a few well placed upward pulls will take the molding...
