A/C Clutch

A/C Clutch
On my 2000 Ford Expedition the A/C clutch will not cycle on and off. With the outside temperature @ 75 deg. the low side shows 40 psi. and the high side reads around 160 psi. From those reading I think the charge is ok in the system. So with the control inside the truck on a/c only shouldn't the...- Kansas Gary

Bad U-Joint? Bad vibration
You didn't say but is your truck "all wheel drive" or can u just have the rears without the front? The reason I ask is on mine it is all wheel drive and it will do that in snow on account of it being "all wheel drive"..........Gary- Kansas Gary

erroneous oil dip stick readings
I know on my 2000 if I pull the dip stick and check it on one side it will be way overfull. But on the other side it will be normal. So then I put it back in the opposite way as it was the first time and both sides will read normal for some odd reason............- Kansas Gary

Unknown issue with surging
If your Ford dealers around you are like mine they wont even touch a gen 1 in there shop. The one around me said to take it to a general car shop to get a tune-up. He said and I quote " my guys don't even know how to open the hood on that old of a truck.".............LOL- Kansas Gary

That's defently sounds like a blown plug to me. When you tear into it you will find out what one. Hopfully it is not #8. It is a bear to repair with the motor in the truck.- Kansas Gary

Spare tire options
If that happens then you pull out your trusty phone and call your emergency road service you have been paying for. I use Good Sam's Emergency Road Service for my Motor Home and Cars........ 99$ a year and then I don't have to worry if the wife has a flat on the side of the road.............Gary- Kansas Gary

What did you do to your expedition today?
Been having the CEL come on so I worked on that today. Hopefully I got that figured out. Put a new belt on while I was under there. She is purring like a kitten again....- Kansas Gary
