The proper way is to to purge out flush with only nitrogen. Vacuum test for leaks isnt always reliable. Nitrogen leak down test with pressure is best. done lots of research on this subject. P0446 Evap Diagnosis
Is your wire repair holding up with no more codes? Think I may have a clogged canister. I already rinsed blew and air dried mine. Check all components. I also have a p0444 gross leak detected. Ran my homemade smoke machine and couldn't pin point. My purge was not holding vacuum and was replaced...- Kenko

Dash Board Removal - Heater Core Replacement
Could u send me one too? I have an 06, which think has the same dash setup. I'm actually trying to access the front evaporator which is leaking. I cant find any write ups or videos on dash removal.- Kenko

99 5.4L New fuel pump, no power/low power to pump
Did you check the fuel module just behind the rear driver wheel well? It should have a protective plate on the frame rail. Salt and rust will eat components and circuit board due to exposure to elements. Very common issue with 5.4 Im hearing.- Kenko
