Thats probably your problem. Boost eats plugs. Bottom line. You should factor in a new set of plugs every 20k or so miles IMO

The audio people i've talked to say they are hit or miss. Some cars the steering wheel controls works and others have a hard time with them. I skipped it and went with a Pioneer 4200NEX instead. Get alot of features for a lil over $400.
Ahhh ok so its basically plastidip. I was considering having it Rhinolined to match the bullbar that's going on this year.

Not sure why a persons taste in music would be the deciding factor in judging their ability to tune or work on a vehicle but hey, whatever floats your boat.

The USB ports are interchangeable with different Ford vehicles so the part number is correct. As far as the warranty is concerned you say nothing. Dealer will think the truck came with the blue light USB port instead of the white one.
Ok that's great that 5* does that then. Perhaps I was wrong about them. And you're right of course. I am more than happy with the tune. EVERYONE should have one of these!! Lol I am exactly where i want to be powerwise with this truck. I even noticed for the first time today its just a tad bit...
Not sure you and I share the same definition of a canned tune. Does the 5* tune offer revision support? Are you able to datalog and send it back for a custom tune? While i agree the base stage 2 tune file i have is what could be considered a canned tune, it is fully customizable if im not...
I understand where you're coming from. My feelings are not hurt nor did i get angry at any point, but the argument was rather tedious.
Ssi has a following. Their success comes from their tuning ability not their marketing ability. If you were a part of the group on FB you would need...
Ok. So dont buy a tune from them. Problem solved.
Back on topic, has anyone tried the vent to atmosphere mod at all for the sound?

Guys you're looking at the wrong component. All the functions are being controlled by the amp. You need a digital signal processor to emulate what the amp is doing. The iDatalink Meastro RR is what you're looking for. Then you can swap out to a smart head unit, change amps and speakers...
Sounds like something I'm planning on doing. Word of caution, the amp cannot be changed without a digital signal processor or else you lose steering wheel, info and touch screen functions. So whatever amp you're planning to install make sure you buy an iDatalink Maestro processor to make it...
On the home screen where it shows you the Map, Radio Source and Phone that is connected tap the Phone screen. Then there is a button showing the Bluetooth symbol that says Change or Connect Device. It will show you the phones and when you tap on the one you want it will ask if you want to...
