I have to strongly disagree. I paid $1800 for a Ford ESP to 7 years and 140000 miles. Had brake master cylinder and vacuum assist replaced for $50 deductible. Truck back in shop at 87000 miles for cam phaser/timing chain, blower motor, and coil pack ( probably $5000) for another $50 deductible...
We have a similar ongoing problem with our 2004 EB. U tried to figure it out and couldn't find the cause. Not willing to pay anyone to repair the old beast
What has worked for us is not using the fob and only locking and unlocking with the access keys or door panel buttons.

Dolores,
Based on the fact other members on this forum have purchased with success I think you can trust those dealers. Also, if you use a credit card you will likely have some form of fraud protection from the card company (VISA, MC, Etc).
if you want WeatherTechs (they are awesome) check Cabelas. Weather Tech makes sets for Cabelas and they often go on sale at 20% off or so.
I just put Silver Star Ultras on the 04 Beast and it helped.

Received my kit from JLT today. Hope to find time this week to install. The kit comes with the can connected to an 18" hose and a 21" hose with connector ends, along with a mounting bracket for the can. I'll post pics once installed.
JLT had it on sale for $15 less than Amazon and free shipping, but backordered. They thought it might ship on the 6th. Asked them to throw in a couple spare canister o-rings.
