    Well it has been determined that the front pressure valve is not able to close. They have sprayed it and tried to manually close it and it stays stuck open. Problem is thy the valve is part of the tank so I need to get a new tank. This has been confirmed by two shops. Ugh.

    Dropped the pan yesterday. It was original fluid and filter but fluid and pan was surprisingly clean. Changed the filter and added 4.5 qts of havoline mercon v and .5 qts of lubrigard red. Truck shifts like brand new.

    I took my 2004 Expi in for tune up, mount new tires, and fuel smell. They just called and said both front lower control arms need replacing, they will change plugs and boots (not COPs-said it doesn't need it unless it is misfiring or CEL), drop tank and fix seals (hopefully to cure fuel leak)...

    Today I was driving a bit enthusiastically with a 3/4 tank of gas and when I parked, I smelled gas. I peeked under the truck and I had a wet spot near the front of the tank again. What could be the issue? Wife is concerned about driving it.
