Thank You for the reply. I found that there is a circuit that is controlled by the key on and off, the audio circuit that turns on the radio. If I can get to the circuit that powers the lighter and move it to the audio it will work. I just have to figure out how to drop the fuse board that is...- wpatters1229

I have a 2000 Expedition with two cigarette lighter ports. Both still have 12v power when the key is turned off. Cold Start problems
i finally found the idle control module...it is located on the left back side of the throttle body. Took it off and cleaned it and the problem is fixed. Probably never been cleaned before. YouTube has some good videos on how to do this.- wpatters1229

What controls the idle when the engine is cold? I have a problem with the engine starting at its normal 1500 rpm and then idling down to normal idle. 2000 4.6 rough idle when cold but ok when warm

Vents changing with engine load
I had the same problem and there is a thin vacuum line behind the parts on the left side of the firewall. Replaced with a piece of hose and everything now works.- wpatters1229

2003 with 5.4 engine. There is a small vacuum line that is in the rear of the left side of the engine bay. It comes off a connector with two other larger vacuum lines.
