2020 Expedition water leak. Carpet wet under drivers seat and some of the 2nd row carpet. no visible sources found. Interested in the AC drain discussions, but most discussions specify the passenger side??? Have also seen water droplets "on top" of the 2nd row weather Tec floor mats. (Above the carpet???) No leaks from the sunroof. Wettest area is under the drivers seat next to the console base. Trying to investigate before taking to the dealer. Looking for any investigative advice...

We recently had a Ford tech post on here about vehicles rolling off the line missing rubber plugs that prevent incursion into the cabin. Those were more in the front passenger area but if some are missing, others could be too. Wondering if maybe there might be one or two missing underneath where maybe some wires or accessories might go into the vehicle. Just a thought. Have you noticed it after say car washes or driving in lots of rain/snow? I haven't looked around those parts of the undercarriage, not sure.

water drops 2nd row floor 1.jpeg water drops 2nd row floor 2.jpeg Good idea, thanks! I can look at that as soon as the snow is melted and I can get under the vehicle. I am puzzled because of how much water and where the water is showing up. While the carpet is wet, there was also droplets ON TOP of the weather Tec floor mats in the 2nd row???

That's a lot of water. That either has to be dripping from above (sunroof) or it would seem to me that it has to be spraying upward from something. Do you have a sports camera or something you could put back there while driving, to see if you can see it coming from something? The other thing you could do, is lay paper or towels there, it might help show if the water is flowing from one direction to another, or dripping more in a pool form.

I also see some on the door jamb/kick plate, check all of the weather stripping in the door. One thing I've done in the past was testing for leaks with a hose or light pressure spray. Have someone outside spraying all over the place from different directions while you sit inside.
