    Running Rough

Decided to check the connector connection to see if it was just loose. Researched the connector type so I knew where the locking mechanism was. They put it facing down. So took it off and the whole connector and wires came off in my hand. The wires had been gnawed through by a chipmunk. Repaired...

    Running Rough

Just returned from AutoZone. What helpful people they are. Error code is P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected. Recommend a new ignition coil and spark plug. Cylinder 3 appears to be the third cylinder back from the front of vehicle on the passenger side. Does anyone have a feel for how difficult...

How can I access any trouble codes there might be to help me understand what happened and what needs fixing? Will accessing the trouble codes...

    Rear Wiper Not Working

The way I fixed mine was to remove the wiper arm and rotate it clockwise about 5 degrees and reinstall it. This results in the new docking position being about 1/2" below the dock. Lift the wiper into the dock. The wiper is now under tension. It operates when activated. The normal docking...

2000 Expy Rear Wiper Motor Gear Assy Refurb

I want to add my vote that this procedure fixes the rear wiper. I removed the blade and rotated it so it would be under stress when seated. It has worked ever sense. It just needs to be rotated so it would be 1/2 inch below the cradle when it shuts off. Thanks to all who contributed to this...

    What stereo do i have?

Thanks for the informative replies guys. Guess I can stop looking for the subwoofer, Huh? The bass is tremendous with the premium system. Just wonder if the head unit has a subwoofer output that's not currently being used.

    What stereo do i have?

I have the 2000 xlt with the premium on the grills also. I can't find a subwoofer anywhere, but the low end to the sound system is great. Is it possible the subwoofer is somewhere other than the back end of the interior space?

    Automatic Transmission

I have the instructions for installing the front receiver. They require the removal of the tow hooks before installing the receiver. After the receiver is installed, the hooks are re-installed. Based on this, I'd say the tow hooks' mounting location provide a major strength factor to the...

    Automatic Transmission

Correct. I was just adding a little background conversation while green03 was helping me determine my transmission type. I didn't know the transmission type so asked the group if anyone could decode the information from the tag attached to the transmission. So far, no one seems to know how...

My pan has a jog on one corner and a drain plug dead center of the pan bottom. From your decription, I'd say its the 4R100. Would you agree? Thanks for the help. I'm setting this Expy up as a tow vehicle. Am going to install an aftermarket transmission cooler and a front receiver very soon...
