Fuse Box Breakdown
The fuse box diagrams are located in the owners manual. The manual shows both the in-dash location and engine location (high power). At least in my '99 XLT manual. I imagine that Ford should have kept the location info constant throughout the years.- fordX2

Brake lights not working
The connectors on the switch itself were worn. I popped the cover off the switch and discovered that the connection between the "spade" connectors (pins 1,2,3) were shorted. The wire side connector harness seemed to be intact.- fordX2

what does it cost to fill your tank?
Cost me close to $60 here in Southern California. I offset the fill-ups by driving a sedan on a rotational basis. My advice to potential Expy owners is to have an additional car. I am not complaining however as I still enjoy the behemoth the same way since day 1 (purchased new 6 yrs...- fordX2

Brake lights not working
After more evaluation, I discovered that the problem resided at the brake light switch. Initially, I just jiggled around the wires/connector and this fixed the problem - temporarily however.
