    Need some guidance on timing marks

    This is a pic of the Left Head cam sproket. What is the timing mark on this sprocket? I am under the impression its the indention on the sprocket correct? Also the crank itself should have the key at the 12 oclock position right? Thanks for the help.

    Question aboout miles and rings?

    I pulled the heads off my 97 Exp /w 215k miles on it to fix the exhaust manifold bolts. I figured I would also get the heads looked at and see if they need anything done to them.
